Amazing Race at Chinatown.

Woke up feeling good because we are going to Chinatown for Amazing Race! Bought Sausage Muffin from Mac and brought it to school. Once I reached school I was busy marking our class attendance and contact those who have yet to reach so I only got the time to eat my breakfast after that and set off to Chinatown. 

We were given a list of missions to be completed from 10am-3pm. 

 Didn't clip my fringe up till I took this picture and I realized that I look like crap so I clip my fringe.

 I was sitting alone in the bus as Cass sat with Eena, Pavi with Feb so Zh and I sat alone.

 Got down @ Buddha Tooth Temple. 

 Setting off to our first destination after getting the Chinatown map from Visitors Center. 

 One of the mission - Look for Red Building. 

The cab behind spoiled the picture. Oh well, actually we have to cross the road and take the picture with the Red Building but the traffic lights are very far so we just took from the opposite w/o crossing the road :D

 Another mission is the India Temple :) 

We have to look for 3 Bwa Kwa shops so this is one of em'. Anyway one of the Bwa Kwa -Lim Chee Guan @ Chinatown has the craziest long queue! From the store nearby the KOI all the way to the People Park Complexe MRT there. More than 50 people in the queue I guess. Literally crazy!! 

One of the mission is going to a 'Money Changer' and ask them 8-10 different countries exchange rate. Not all of the staff there is willingly to help as there either have customers or brushed us off by saying they are busy. Example -  The above Money Changer.

 Finally this 'Money Changer' staff agreed to helped us out and he even wrote it down for us on our paper. 

Went to a quite travel agencies to collect itinerary of air, land & water transports. Some of the travel agencies only have those itinerary printed in Chinese and most of the staff there are from China and I had a hard time saying 'itinerary' in mandarin. Thank God, classmates were around. 

Another task is taking a pictures of the Signage of People Park Complex but the Wealth of the God is too oversized? LOL! 

We had to look for the Chinatown Famous Dessert shop and we ordered two desserts and shared among ourselves. 

 Deciding on what to order...

The Mango and Strawberry dessert! The another one was Mango dessert but I didn't took picture of it. Oh well, anyway this dessert is not to my liking. This dessert is not sweet enough for me :/ I'm a sweet tooth person but my classmate likes it though. I prefer Ice Cream! :D

Spotted a bunch of Japanese students so we asked these two students if we could take picture of em' and they agreed readily! Thanks~
