Ice skating at JEM

Woke up early again and decided to on my lappy for online shopping meanwhile cooking plain rice to go with seaweed that D bought for me yesterday. Was eating halfway then house internet down. Didn't really shopped as much as I planned ~>_<~

Went to start preparing around 2plus. Brought 2 pairs of socks, outerwear,  snacks and water bottle out! Guess where did I went today?? I went to JEM ice skating ring #^_^# Took long rides bus to Yishun > went up to grandparents place to get my bags > had late lunch at 925 coffee house > Causeway point meet D and off to JEM. Reached Jurong mrt station at 6.45pm, we planned to go for 7.30pm ice skating slot so we made our way up there.

Oh yes, nearly forgotten about this incident! I wanted to go toilet to change to my legging before wearing my boots so excited I rushed in to the toilet w/o looking at the toilet sign then as I ran in... I saw guys' peeing cubicles?!?! Then I rushed out the toilet and see the sign!!! LOL. Luckily, there was no one in the toilet.

Upon reaching, we went to the ticketing booth, paid $9.90 person and we bought 2 pairs gloves ($2 each).
Took off our shoes/slippers in exchange of our skating boots.

Braided my messy fringe~
Brought my own socks along so we don't have to spend extra $ there to buy.

Had a hard time fitting my feet in because it is quite tight fitting and D helped me to adjust the tightness after wearing it.
Upon entering, I realized that the skating floor is quite slippery ~T_T~ so afraid to fall so I keep holding onto the edges & D as well. There were a few times when I was about to fall and D saved me from falling.

Here is a short video clip of me skating slowly and wobbly~ :D

Although I know how to skate now already but i'm nowhere near stable and steady.
It was really very fun though, slippery floor, heavy boots,  sometimes uncontrollable legs and the ahhh -my-legs-slanted feelings! Not only that, those adults like me learning new thing (skating) and family having good times playing and encouraging their little ones to skate.
We left the skating ring around 9.20pm > took off our heavy boots > changed boots for our shoes/slippers & I changed to shorts instead of wearing my legging.
My tired feet after 2 hours of skating with rest in between :B
Went to a coffee house nearby for dinner which D's mum likes to eat the fish ball noodles from that particular stall before taking long rides mrt back home.
