Rice & fries

On train to Kembangan mrt station to meet poly classmates now! Rushed out soon after shower cus my aunt brought baby cousin back from childcare.

-10.30am- 

Shop just opened at 10.30am and the check stocks staff came over. Turned out to be one of the madam that my aunt and colleague are close with. Haha. It is her birthday tomorrow so before we knocked off at 5.30pm, my aunt and colleague went out to buy her a small birthday cake. Sang happy birthday song to her & ate a slice of cake too

Yifang recommended us to go Rice & Fries for our dinner. No GST charges & service charges at all! All net price as shown on the menu  

Before reaching, I googled for reviews about it. It was said that the boss is ex- hotel chef. In other words, the food there will be nice, hotel standards.

I ordered breaded dory, $9.90! The serve for the dory is huge & I shared some with Jw cus she didn't ordered any main 

We ordered potato wedges cheese sauce as side to share, $4! Crispy and nice 

Yt's main course, Pork Chop with tomato confit & BBQ - red wine sauce  Initially I wanted to order this but I have never eaten food that comes with BBQ sauce before so I changed my mind & ordered breaded dory instead. 

Yf ordered Rosemary chicken chop  She is a hardcore chicken meat eater.  Anyway our 3 main courses & potato wedges as side were good! 

After our main course, we ordered desserts! 1 lava cake ($9.80)with vanilla ice cream & waffles w/ walnut - butterscotch ice cream (I can't remember is it $5 or $5.80). 

The lava cake was good!!!  Warm & chocolate oozing out in the middle of the cake *^O^* Except that we didn't expected it to be a little pricey ≧﹏≦

As for the waffles w/ ice cream, it is my first time eating walnut with butterscotch ice cream! It was nice but for the waffles I preferred it to be a little more soft •﹏•

Total bill for our dinner was $53, 3 main courses, 1 side dish & 2 desserts! Really affordable & nice! I paid $14.70 for my main - breaded dory ($9.90) & divided the side & desserts $ among 4 of us.

Left the place around 9+ and slowly walked back to mrt station. I took train back to Pasir Ris while the 3 of them took train back to purple line. I can't wait for my mum's house to be ready then meeting them up will be so much easier!
